A dynamite, nonpartisan ‘get out the vote’ speech for this election year
Sometimes a simple, striking number can provide the cornerstone for an entire speech. The instant “get out the vote” speech that follows offers an excellent example of just such a case. We originally ran this speech in October of 2000, and — to put it mildly — it proved prophetic, given the excruciatingly close election returns that followed.
