January is a time for all of us to make resolutions — although, admittedly, most of them will be forgotten by February. For those seriously committed to public speaking, January also offers an opportunity to review, resolve and plan ahead. How did we do, speaking-wise, over the past year? What mistakes did we make? What lessons have we learned? And most important, how can we build on last year’s experience in the year ahead?
