Avoid wind-blown speech disasters
While speaking outdoors can provide an impressive scenic backdrop for weddings, commencements, dedications and many other speaking functions, an outside locale also adds to the list of speaking risks. First and foremost is the problem of windy weather. An unwelcome breeze can scatter scripts, flip flipcharts and generally wreak havoc.

Speak perfectly with proper pronunciation
Nothing is more irritating than listening to a speaker who mispronounces words. The tendency to mangle common English words is growing and it threatens good speech.
|
|
Hone the power of your business voice
One of the most essential assets you can have in business is a pleasant speaking voice because it will make others want to listen to what you have to say. If your voice is authoritative, modulated, expressive and friendly, people will be much more receptive to you.
