The American Speaker Search Engine uses most of the standard search techniques. Some of the most common that you might be interested in using are...
  • Search for exact phrases using quotation marks (" ")
Typing "automation" or "technology" will find items with those exact words in sequence.
  • Use the minus sign (-) to narrow your search
If you enter automation -technology, that tells the search engine to include the word automation but not technology. Don't forget - there's no space after the sign.
  • Use a wildcard (*) for multiple endings
By typing an * (asterisk symbol) at the end of a word, you can search for items with multiple endings. For example: warn* would return items such as warns, warnings, etc.
  • Search Command Chart
