About Jennifer
Jennifer Brown is an author, keynote speaker, and inclusive leadership strategist who has spent two decades guiding executives and organizations through cultural change. Her central concern is what leaders actually do differently once they decide inclusion matters, which is a narrower and more practical question than the one most of the field addresses.
She is the author of four books: Inclusion, How to Be an Inclusive Leader, Beyond Diversity, and her 2026 release The Shape of Change. She is also the creator of the Inclusive Leader Continuum, a model that places leaders on a path from unaware through to advocate, giving organizations a way to talk about progress without treating inclusion as a binary an individual either passes or fails.
Her client work includes Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, LinkedIn, JPMorgan Chase, Johnson and Johnson, IBM, and Amazon, and her commentary has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Fast Company. She leads an LGBTQ and woman-owned business, and speaks from that position rather than around it.
She hosts The Will to Change, a podcast on identity, allyship, and the future of work that is widely used by HR leaders and executives. The long-running interview format is part of why her stage material stays current with how the conversation is actually moving inside companies rather than how it moved five years ago.
Her sessions are frequently booked at moments of transition, when an organization is rebuilding an approach that has stalled or is under new scrutiny. The recurring argument is that inclusion is a leadership competency to be developed like any other, not a program to be administered, and that treating it as the latter is why so many initiatives fail to outlast their sponsor.

Booking Jennifer Brown: Frequently Asked Questions
What is Jennifer Brown's speaking fee?
Jennifer Brown's fee is not published and is quoted per event. Fees are driven by event date, location and travel, session length, and whether the booking adds a leadership workshop, an executive session, or facilitated follow-up to the main keynote. Submit an inquiry with those details to receive a current quote and availability.
What is the Inclusive Leader Continuum?
The Inclusive Leader Continuum is a model created by Jennifer Brown that places a leader on a path running from unaware through aware, active, and advocate. Its purpose is to let organizations discuss progress in inclusive leadership as a developmental path rather than as a binary test an individual either passes or fails.
Is this the same as booking a DEI speaker?
The framing is different in a way that matters to most organizations booking today. Inclusive leadership treats inclusion as a leadership competency developed like any other skill, focused on what managers do differently day to day. It is a narrower and more behavioral subject than diversity programming, and it is the framing Jennifer Brown works in.
When do organizations typically book Jennifer Brown?
Most bookings come at a point of transition, when an existing approach has stalled, come under new scrutiny, or lost the executive sponsor who launched it. Her recurring argument is that inclusion fails when it is administered as a program rather than developed as a leadership capability, which is the situation those organizations are usually in.
